Time makes no difference to me...

I had breakfast at Sonic this morning with my friend who lives in Utah - she ate breakfast at Sonic in Logan, Utah and I ate breakfast at Sonic in Addison, TX and we talked on the phone for 30 minutes. When she started eating breakfast it was 7:30 am. I started eating breakfast at 8:30 am.

The wonders of technology.

It was like old times again. We used to dig up change in the Honda Civic-Wagovan I drove in high school. Good old Bryan High. Those were the days...

One time a friend of mine test fired his new Remington 700 police model on the phone so I could hear it. It was awesommmmme!

Im glad you and T are doing alright. Did you tell her about the Attack of the Green Shirts?

Girls - it was fun!

Beef - no, I haven't said anything to her for fear of ensuing (sp?) an argument. It still pisses me off she didn't show to the weddding, but you know me, I'm not going to say anything. I LOVE being pissed on. IN FACT, IT'S MY VERY FAVORITE THING TODAY.

I'd love to fire a few rounds on the Remington myself...
Screw everything.

how about a few rounds of a 9mm at something that won't mind getting blown apart, like aliminum cans? I find it a great stress reliever.

I SAY HERE HERE! We need to go down and shoot with Writer SOON cause I need to test fire my K31.

Ummmmm - OK, I am proudly clueless of all the gun talk, but...

I really think that what you did with your friend is awesome. It's cool to find ways to do things together even when you CAN'T be together.

My mom (who lives here in HI at the moment) and her best friend (who lives in Denver) get together for coffee at their respective starbucks on the phone.

This is really cool. Ok time to share my dark secret for this month (which relates to this post) - I actually had WIRELESS internet the last two weeks AT CAMP. I was super busy which is why I remained out of the blogging world except as a lurker.

But here I was in the middle of the North MN woods daily checking my email and all the various blogs from my bed in my cabin. Yeah technology can do some weird things. In a year or two, I have no doubt you and your friend can carry on that same conversation over a video screen on your cell phones and who knows? By the time you guys are 80 you will probably have some sort of virtual reality headset that will project a flawless holographic image of each other or something.

Ok now I am just a sci-fi nerd, but they probably called Jules Verne that too during his day! :)
